We Open Labor Day Weekend 2024

We’re planning to open for U-Pick Muscadines on Saturday, August 31st, just in time for Labor Day Weekend! We understand that the past two seasons have been disappointing, as we were only able to open for a few days due to a small crop caused by harsh winter deep freezes that damaged our 40-year-old Muscadine plants. However, we’ve taken significant steps to address this issue. We’ve conducted a major pruning of the plants to help them regroup and have also planted over a dozen new plants. While we can’t predict what exactly to expect, we remain optimistic that our efforts will yield a better crop this year.

How it Works:

In our vineyard you will find the classic purple muscadines, as well as the bronze scuppernongs which are known for their sweetness. The Price is $10 per gallon. Please bring exact change. We supply the the 1 gallon buckets and plastic bags for you to take the muscadines home. Kids are welcome as long as they are supervised. During the picking season our Hours are 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM – Open 7 Days a week (CLOSED NOW).  During the picking season we have a recorded info-line 501-340-3800 to get updates. Over the years we have evolved our operation to make things as easy for you as possible to pick your muscadines. So much so, that we have it set up to be SELF SERVE. That’s why we ask you to bring exact change.

We realize that everyone has different schedules so we find that it’s best to be open 7 days a week during our picking season (September). Our hours are 9am to 7pm. We encourage you to sign up for our e-list to get email notifications on any changes to our schedule and to find out about special opportunities to be a VIP “Early Bird” picker!
